The Unit, through research and experience-based information, will empower the stewards and users of West Virginia landscapes to manage the agriculture, forests, water, soil, wildlife, and other natural resources in a sustainable manner that will satisfy the needs of the current and future generations. This education and or technology transfer effort, developed by a partnership of researchers, educators and citizens, will help resource users develop critical skill and problem-solving abilities necessary to make the correct natural resource decisions.
